Take a free tour on your skis or snowboard with a volunteer US Forest Service naturalist. On this 1-hour tour you'll cruise around the mountain and learn about the region's geologic history, flora and fauna, and weather patterns. Tours depart from the Chalet patio at the top of Chair J1 at 10:30 AM on most Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holiday Mondays throughout the season. Weather and conditions permitting.

- A valid lift ticket is required as you will be skiing or snowboarding on the tour.
- All tour participants must be able to ski/ride at an intermediate level.
- Group sizes range depending on number of participants.
